Temperature chamber

Temperature chambers – when the focus is on the temperature

While humidity often plays a key role during simulations of various climatic conditions, other testing and research procedures are concerned solely with the temperature generated. We are familiar with this difference, which is why we offer an engaging range of temperature chambers that focus on the required temperature simulation alone in order to successfully carry out complex cooling/heating tests between -70 °C and 180 °C. Temperature chambers do not support an additional humidity-regulation function as it is used in climate chambers. In order to ensure easier classification, we also call temperature chambers when they are tasked with the efficient drying or storage of products at temperatures from 5 °C above ambient temperature to 300 °C.

Benefits of temperature chambers

Thermal tests require a particular degree of quality and reliability so that they always achieve the correct results. Temperature chambers from BINDER meet these criteria for cyclical temperature tests and support a temperature range of -70 °C to 180 °C. Because we manufacture temperature chambers in various sizes - from 53 to 720 liters (1.9 to 25.4 cu.ft) - we can cover a wide range of fields ( dynamic climate chambers ). Our chambers permit effective testing of thermal stresses with large and small testing samples. To ensure a constant temperature in the interior of the chamber, we integrate our APT.line™ preheating chamber, which facilitates the homogeneous distribution of temperature thereby ensuring reliable test results in the construction of the chamber.

Temperature chambers with forced convection

Homogeneous temperature conditions are important for reliable test results, efficient storage and optimized use of the interior of the chamber. We therefore integrated a convection system, the APT.line™, in our heating and drying chambers for optimized airflow. This guarantees fast heat-up and cool-down times. Gravity convection in drying and heating chambers facilitates drying of light materials. All units have a drying program that significantly accelerates the drying and sterilization process.
