BINDER expands company headquarters in Tuttlingen

Construction phase 1 - COMPETENCE FACTORY

BINDER is on a trajectory of growth.  Over the coming years, it plans to establish multiple new buildings at its Tuttlingen site – a large-scale project named "Competence Campus" which will see the entire company premises undergoing several stages of development.

The initial preparatory construction work began back in August 2015. The groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction of the BINDER COMPETENCE FACTORY has taken place on May 11, 2016. The work will involve erecting a state-of-the-art plant over approximately 8,300 m² of space at the company's Tuttlingen site. The new production hall is where all sheet metal working and device carcass construction will take place in the future. The areas of the existing facility that are freed up during the project will be used for expansion of the individual assembly areas.

With this large-scale construction project, we are setting the course for the future and laying the foundations for continued growth. This site will soon be the location of state-of-the-art infrastructure designed to provide maximum efficiency, quality, and productivity.
