By sponsoring the TagNacht night-time regatta on Lake Constance, Binder GmbH from Tuttlingen is supporting the volunteer work of the Altnauer Segelclub (ASC – Altnau sailing club).
For the second time now, BINDER GmbH from Tuttlingen is the main sponsor for the famous TagNacht night-time regatta, which this year was held on August 12 for the 45th time on Lake Constance in Altau, Switzerland. Organized for the first time by the Altnau sailing club back in 1972, it is now the biggest regatta on Swiss shores with over one hundred ships taking part and is part of the Bodenseepokal.
BINDER GmbH is the world's largest specialist in simulation chambers for scientific and industrial laboratories. For years, the company has been heavily involved in social engagement, supporting various projects in the realms of the arts, culture, and sports, for example. What's more, BINDER is committed to the environment, research, and training specialists for the long term. As the main sponsor, the company invited its Swiss customers and retailers along to experience the event up close on an exclusive boat trip on the lake. "Social engagement and responsibility are firmly entrenched in the principles of our company philosophy. By sponsoring the TagNacht night-time regatta, we are supporting both a magnificent sporting event and the volunteer work of the Altnau sailing club," said Peter M. Binder, Managing Director. "What's more, it also presents the opportunity to share an unforgettable experience with our Swiss customers and retailers."
The Altnau TagNacht night-time regatta is an internationally advertised long-distance race for keel yachts and multihulls. Starting and ending in front of Altnau, the regatta course stretches across Constance and Hagnau along the German shore. The sailing regatta is one of the largest anywhere in the Lake Constance region and attracts scores of sailors and spectators from all over Germany and neighboring countries to the picturesque, lake-side village of Altnau.
