BINDER KBWF 720 with maximum flexibility for a variety of test requirements
With an interior volume of 918 liters, the mobile KBWF 720 is best suited for both in vivo and in vitro cultures.
In a broad temperature range of 0 to 70 °C and a regulated humidity range of 10 to 80% rh, the three flexible positionable illumination cassettes each with 5 T8 daylight lamps provide growth levels with approx. 210 µmol/m2s. These illumination cassettes can easily be replaced with the FLUORA® growth lamps (light color 77) or Arabidopsis lamps (light color 741).
A reduction in the evaporation rate is crucial for proper growth conditions. The unique APT.line™ technology ensures horizontal airflow from two sides, which reduces air speed to a minimum. This patented technology from BINDER leads reproducibly to very high temperature and humidity accuracy and reduces the risk of water stress for the cultures.
The vapor pressure humidification and condensation-free interior volume of stainless steel reduce the risk of contamination from phytopathogenic organisms to a minimum. The autoclavable racks can hold up to 45 kg.
A large double-leaf glass door makes observing or reading measuring instruments easy. The test environment remains undisturbed, the test conditions stable.
Diurnal rhythms are programmed in real time using the MCS controller for temperature, humidity, and lighting with 25 storable programs of 100 sections each for a maximum of 500 program segments. A keyboard lock protects the settings against mistakes.
Depending on the requirements, various options are available for the standard equipment, e.g. waterproof interior socket, the PURE AQUA water treatment system, access ports or Data Logger Kit with software.
