The German Nutrition Association (DGE) recommends consuming five servings of fruits and vegetables each day in order to ensure enough vitamins and energy. Five servings equates to about 600 - 700 grams. The fact is that proper nutrition reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease and has a positive effect on blood pressure. But truth be told, who can eat so much plant-based nutrition every day?

Recipe:
- 1/2 cucumber
- 8 cherry tomatoes (halved)
- 1 spring onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 2 - 3 basil leaves
- Vegetable juice (fresh)
- Sauerkraut juice (fresh)
- 2 drops olive oil
- Pepper
- Ground red pepper
Place the ingredients in a blender with a little vegetable juice and blend. Add a splash of sauerkraut juice. Add vegetable juice until the mixture has the desired consistency. Water can be used in place of the juices.
