Accolade for Tuttlingen

BINDER named an innovation champion

Already one of the most innovative companies in Germany

BINDER now has earned its place among the country’s 100 most innovative medium-sized enterprises. In its 2021 ranking, Wirtschaftwoche placed the Tuttlingen company – which produces simulation chambers – at number 73 in the list.

Some 4,000 companies were scrutinized in the magazine, which used an innovation score to identify the top 100. Growth, interviews with the companies’ management teams, market position, and products were all criteria that were considered during the scoring process.

This in-depth analysis led BINDER to be crowned one of the 100 innovation champions that were ultimately selected for the 2021 list. It’s a result that both the management team and the employees can be proud of in equal measure, as innovations permeate everything BINDER does – and have even led to it coining the term BINOVATIONS to reflect the work that it carries out day after day.

More evidence of BINDER’s commitment to innovation comes in the form of its plans to begin extending its already cutting-edge COMPETENCE FACTORY in October. Not only that, but the company also applies for numerous patents year upon year – and it even invests a significant nine percent of its annual sales in research and development.

It isn’t just products that are the subject of BINDER’s drive for innovation – its strategies and processes are too; another reason why the company is so delighted that its efforts in this area have been recognized and rewarded.
